Andrew Stirrat has been mentoring leaders, designing and
delivering change initiatives, and facilitating executive
and team development programs for nearly 25 years. As a founding
member of Headwaters Leadership Group, he is a skilled BreakThrough
facilitator and is respected for his notable work in maximizing
individual and organizational effectiveness through teamwork,
vision and values alignment. Andrew has mentored hundreds
of executives and managers for clients including FedEx, Nokia,
L’Oreal (Matrix), Pfizer-GSK, Warner Lambert and Lee
Hecht Harrison.
Andrew helps individuals and public and private organizations
create compelling visions and strategies for their lives
and futures. He is uniquely skilled at creating environments
that enhance personal and team effectiveness and foster collaborative
climates. Andrew has designed and conducted numerous strategic
and developmental programs from senior executive retreats
to multi-level consulting programs to adventure learning
African safaris.
Prior to serving in his current roles, Andrew was a program
director with the American Leadership Forum, an organization
providing leadership development to diverse leaders from
communities around the nation. He was responsible for the
delivery of 23-day intensive leadership programs in the communities
of Hartford, CT and Portland, OR.
Andrew is a consummate chef and has traveled the globe in
search of the perfect meal. His adventuresome spirit infuses
all that he does—he has trekked in Nepal, kayaked
in Alaska, driven across Africa, dog sledded in Canada and
backpacked and canoed throughout North America. At home in
Denver, he is an avid biker and skier while continuing to
tap the best of Colorado’s adventure-based environment
for his own learning and work. Andrew is an engineering graduate
of the University of Minnesota and a former U.S. Navy officer.
